Willy Delbert Ferris, 68, of Cortland N.Y., passed away on October 31, 2019. He was born in Germany on June 1, 1951, to his parents Carl and Doris Ferris.
Willy was a proud member of The Eagles Club. He worked as an Electrician and was employed at BMC, Copper Tools, and the Ramada Inn. He enjoyed cooking, music, working, and his three cats Spotie, Pumklin, and Clumsy.
Willy is survived by his father Carl H. Ferris of Georgetown, N.Y., a very special friend and partner of six years Carol Wesche of Cortland, his daughters Monica and Jennifer, his sisters Jeanette (Chip) Martin of Trumansburg, N.Y. and Jacqueline (Scott) Dinkel of Wappinzerfalls, N.Y., his niece Courtney Dinkel of Wappinzerfalls, N.Y., and his nephews Zackery and Brandon Martin of Trumansburg, N.Y.
Willy is predeceased by his mother Doris Ferris.
There will be no services. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 24, 2019 at 2pm at The Ramada Inn, 2 River St., Cortland, N.Y.
