Kimberly Passalugo, 50, of Summerhill NY, passed away surrounded by family after a battle with cancer on November 4, 2019. She was born January 12, 1969, in Ithaca NY. Kimberly grew up in Westport, NY and graduated Westport Central High School in 1987. Following graduation, she went to LeMoyne College. Kim would go on to earn her Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Albany. She began her librarian career at BOCES before continuing at Dryden Central School for the last 21 years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and was an avid MMA participant. Kim is survived by her husband, Michael Passalugo, children, Michael and Vincent Passalugo, her parents, Daniel and Lucille Blouin Connell, brothers Scott (Priscella) Sato-Connell, Patrick (Kelly) Connell, Kevin (Samantha) Connell, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held Thursday 5 pm-8 pm at the St. Anthony's Church, 50 Pomeroy St., Cortland NY, 13045. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, Cortland NY. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Cortland. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home will be serving the family. Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY
