Reese W. Weyant Reese passed away peacefully Sunday December 8, 2019 at home, after a brave battle with cancer. He was born on May 5, 1940 in Cortland the son of Reese W. Weyant Sr. and Arla Rose Weyant. Reese graduated from Cortland High School class of 1958, after which he proudly served in the United States Army. He went on to receive an engineering degree from Delhi College. He held several jobs over the years but the one he loved most was owning and operating Crown Billiards on Main Street in Cortland, where he made life long friends and met so many interesting people. In his retirement Reese kept busy with his All Star Pro Billiards Sales and Service Business. His spare time was spent playing golf and as a chauffeur for Liane. He leaves behind the love of his life Liane Bracciale, son Andrew (Johnna) Weyant of Groton, grandson Zachery Weyant U.S. Navy, Hawaii, granddaughter Jessica Weyant of Cortland and Jake O'Brien, also his great grandchildren Caelyn and Kael, and his cat Mukti. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and his beloved son Reese Weyant. There will be a celebration honoring Reese at Rex's Restaurant on Saturday, December 14 at noon. All are welcome.
