Chester A. Harris, 63 of Cortland, passed away on December 6, 2019 at Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born on September 27, 1956 in Cortland, NY to his parents, Harold Albert Harris and Mary Elizabeth Vonada. Chester was a Taxi Cab Driver for American Taxi. He was also an avid fan of the television show, Gun Smoke, and enjoyed watching professional wrestling. He is survived by his daughter Gina Harris; his brother Charles Harris; sister Beth Harris; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place on Monday at 9:30am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a donation to the SPCA.
