Thomas A. Brown, 91, rejoined the love his life on Monday, December 16th 2019. He was born March 4th, 1928, to Norman N. and Mildred L (Gutchess) Brown in the town of Lapeer. He married the late Lucy A. Marshall on August 11th, 1950. He was the father of Patricia (Douglas) Taylor, Thomas Jr. (Lois) Brown, Jeanette (Curt) Boulanger, Catherine (Gary) Spencer and Joanne Brown. He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters, Marian Robinson, Laura Medchill and Leona Hudson. He was also predeceased by his children Patricia and Thomas Jr. and grand-daughter Elizabeth Spencer. He is survived by his sister, Elinor Banks and brother, Corky (Lawrence) Brown. He is also survived by his daughters, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Tom grew up on a farm during the depression where he developed a strong work ethic. After marrying, he farmed for many years. Upon deciding to stop farming, he worked repairing tractors and other odd jobs eventually working for Agway as an installation and repair man. He installed milk tanks, compressors, silo unloaders and such. Many nights farmers would look out the window and see him rolling into the yard for an important repair and say "oh it's Tom Brown, now I know it will be fixed right." Even late in life, friends and farmers alike, would ask for his help in fixing problem equipment. Tom lived much of his life with severe pain, due to a back injury suffered while working. He always found a way to make the job easier while making sure it got done right. He loved his family very much and was so proud of all of their accomplishments.
