Obituary of Thomas W. Reid

Thomas W. Reid, 74, of Marathon, passed away on February 14, 2020 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. He was born on March 4, 1945 in Binghamton, NY, the son of the late James Reid and Marion Nightingale Reid. Tom owned his own business, "Tom Reid Drywall." He also served his country in the United States Airforce. One of his fondest memories and honors was to meet President John F. Kennedy. Tom loved to fish and camp, as well as spend time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Darleen, son Timothy (Mary) Reid; daughters Kristi (Brian) Sliker and Kelli Wilson; his sisters Priscillia Vigliotti, and Patricia (Robert) Vonderheide; his sister in law Dianne (John) Walburn; his grandchildren Jessica (Kasey) Bush, Alyssa (Jordan) Gerst, Isabella Reid, Brysen and Carsen Wilson and Gabriella and Addison Williams; several nieces and nephews; and his special four legged companions, Penny, Ellie, and Daisy.
