Obituary of Dustin R. Golden

Dustin Golden, 36, of Cortland passed away May 17, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer with family by his side. He was born February 16, 1984 in Cortland. Dustin graduated from Homer high School in 2003. From grade school until graduation Dustin was active in football, wrestling, baseball, and bowling. He then attended and graduated from National Tractor Trailer School (NTTS) in Liverpool NY. Dustin drove bus for the Homer School District until his health prevented him from working. Dustin was an avid football fan, the Chicago Bears were his favorite team. He is survived by his wife Erica Golden, his son Greyson Golden, his daughter Ava Golden, his mother Robin Wagner, his father Jeffrey Golden, his sister Christina "Crissy" (Storm) Blake, his maternal grandmother Gloria Middleton, several aunts and uncles, his wife's grandparents Doug and Barb Park, Nieces, Hayleigh Rice, Layna Rice, and Remington Beebe-Scott, nephew- Raiden Sturdevant, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother in law Deborah Lawton, his paternal grandparents Arlene and Robert Golden and maternal grandfather Bill Middleton.
