First and foremost my condolences to Scott's entire family. My prayers are for the pain and for your moving forward in this most difficult time. Scott...Bullet...I have so many memories, hundreds. Thanks for not beating the crap out of Scott Alexander and I that day. WOW...Thanks for all the "Sunday Hops" at 3rd when they would beat your curve ball into the dirt. Thanks for the laughs, man you always made me laugh. You will always be ICONIC in my memories of growing up and playing ball in Truxton. I know you dealt with a lot of pain most of your life. I am happy that it is gone now for you. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Your 3rd baseman Fiver...Wahzoo

My deepest condolences to Scott's father, Ed, his mother Pat, brother Gary and Scott's children. Scott and I were born less than a month apart and grew up as friends in Truxton. Scott was a good friend to me, my brothers, our parents, neighbors and many of the good people of Truxton. Scott loved to play baseball as a kid and we had many great days playing pick up games in town with friends and especially when representing Truxton in Pee Wee, Little League and Babe Ruth. A great memory of Scott was when he hit a grand slam in the Marathon little league tournament - i think he was 12 at the time. Scott would always proudly talk about his high batting average in our last year of Babe Ruth (age 15). He loved to hunt and work on cars. This is the Scott I remember. As years went by, we saw each other less and less - but when we did see each other the conversation always came back to the many fun times we had growing up in Truxton - and he always called me Lanky. May God bless you Scott, rest in peace my friend.
Lanky
