Frederick T. Marshall, age 69, passed away peacefully on June, 3rd, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at home. Fred had many hobbies including softball, hunting, fishing and pool. He was also a member of the Seven Valley Pool Hall of Fame. Fred volunteered many years of coaching to little league baseball, pee wee football and later on in life umpired throughout the county for various softball and baseball leagues. He went on to become President of the Cortland County Umpire Association for several years. He was successful at anything he pursued, and was proud of his many city league softball titles. Fred Retired from Four County Library System after 30 years of service where he could frequently be seen assisting the elderly carrying their books. Fred was preceded in death by his father Fred Sr.. and his mother Ethel Darling as well as brothers David, Billy, Randy and sisters Linda and Randa. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Becky. She was the love of his life. He leaves behind a daughter Tisha, (Brian) Hollenbeck, and son Bear (Cristin) Marshall. His three grandchildren, Morgan, Cooper and Lincoln. Fred took great joy in his family, and cherished them deeply. He is also survived by his sisters, Cindy (Joe) Seaman, Teresa Marshall, and brothers, John Marshall, Dick (Lisa) Marshall. Many thanks and appreciation go to the nurses and aides who provided a peaceful and compassionate environment during his transition from this life to the next. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Nate Wright officiating. Burial will be in West Hill cemetery in Homer, NY. Fred will be remembered most for his outspoken nature, iron fists, but tender heart. He will be dearly missed by most that knew him. Please make any donations to the Donald Trump campaign fund.
