James T. Quattro, Sr., 81, of Cortland, passed away on June 7, 2020 at the Cortland Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. James was born on November 20, 1938, in Cortland, to his parents, Louis and Nellie Alexander Quatro, who predeceased him. James was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice; son James (Marilyn) Quattro, Jr.; daughter Laurie Quattro Reisman; brother Louis (Alice) Quatro; sister Annmarie Quatro Manderano; grandchildren Franki (Nicholas), Haleigh (Richard), Luke, Coleton, Gabrielle, James (Amanda), Christine, Anna, Erik, and Rose; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to being a veteran of the United States Army, James was an employee of the Cortland Standard for more than fifty years. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. A burial with full military honors will take place at Tully Cemetery.
