Lee had two degrees from Syracuse Univ. Clearly he loved the school, as shown by season tickets for basketball (men's) and football.
Just one anecdote. After an away basketball game was won...barely, I think on a Monday night, I asked Lee if he watched the game the following day while at Rotary...
Paraphrasing, he said, "No I never watch close away games. The stress level would be high."

John and I still recall a Troop 94 camping trip when Mark was trying to tell a story, after Taps, and kept getting interrupted by other Scouts or tangents. When he returned to the narrative, he'd start with, "So anyway ..."
And to this day, in similar circumstances (except for the dark and sleeping bags) our go-to phrase has become, "So anyway, Mark Taylor ..."
Lots of good times! So sorry for your loss.

Lee was a truly outstanding man. It was a privilege to know him and everyone who met him was better for it. He was a wonderful mentor to me and I have many fond memories of him that I will always hold dear.
My thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Rosemary and family.
Sincerely,
Victoria J. Monty
