Obituary of Laurie Smith-Dunham

Laurie Smith-Dunham, 80 of Cortland, NY passed away on June 21, 2020. She was born on October 10, 1939 in San Diego, CA a daughter of the late Harvey and Ellen Black Teeter. Laurie received an AOS degree from CCBI, Syracuse, NY. She worked for city and county governments in Syracuse and Ithaca, NY. She was a partner with her husband Nelson Dunham, Jr. in their insurance agency. Laurie is survived by her loving husband, Nelson Dunham, Jr., her beloved children, Belinda, Gary, Robin, Amy, Allan, and Keith, ten grandchildren, a great grandson and a great granddaughter, a sister Josephine, brother, Edward and other family members. Laurie was predeceased by her father Harvey in 1993, her mother Ellen in 2004, sisters Janice in 2009 and Ellen in 2012 and her brother Clinton in 2015. There will be no calling hours; A private burial for immediate family only will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ithaca, NY 14850. Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
