Obituary of Alfred Zogg

Alfred V. Zogg Jr. 97, of McGraw passed away on August 15, 2020. He was born on May 17th, 1923 in Syracuse to his parents, Alfred Valentine Zogg Sr. and Laura Hitchock Zogg. He studied Political Science at Washington State University and Syracuse University, as well as served in the United States Military. Alfred was an Auctioneer and owned his own company, AV Zogg Auctioneering. Alfred was also a member of the United Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his children, Julia C. Zogg, Carl J. Zogg, Laura Z. Cloud, Richard M. Zogg, Diana Z. (Dee De) VanPatten; his grandchildren Brent, Steven, Marissa, Lindsey, Eric, Lauren, Madison, Andrew, Avi, Elan, and Andrea. A graveside service was held at Cortland Rural Cemetery. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the SPCA.
