Obituary of Celia D. Mullen

Celia "Putt" Mullen, 95 of Livermore Rd., Dryden passed away October 7, 2020 at the Cortland Regional Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 23, 1925 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Bert and Harriet Walton Sherman. Celia married John W. Mullen April 21, 1941. She had worked for over twenty five years at Smith Corona. Celia was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her son Gary (Frances) Mullen, her daughter-in-law Judy Mullen. Her grandchildren; Jennifer (Bruce) Baker, Nancy (James) Gilligan, Amy (Michael) Amidei, John (Nicole), Mat (Jennifer) and Mark (Bethany) Mullen. Her sister Loretta Eckel. Her great grandchildren, Cari Cator, Jami Gilligan, Mallory Coates, Kathleen Carranti, Chloe, Poppi, Sadie, Sofie, Xander, and Vaily Mullen. One great great grandson Damon Dowd and many nieces and nephews. Celia was predeceased by her husband John and son Larry, three sisters, and six brothers. Services will be held at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. and will be private for family. The Rev., Cathy Lee will be officiation the services.
