Obituary of Delilah Wagner

Delilah L. Wagner, 74, of Cortland, passed away on October 6, 2020 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Delilah was born on October 7, 1945 in Bainbridge, NY, to her parents Harold Butts and Julia Russell. She truly loved her family and spent her life taking care of those she loved as a home maker. She would regularly help out on the family farm. Delilah loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and would hold a baby whenever she had the chance. Delilah was always the type to help others She is survived by her children William Wagner, Terri Williams (John) and Annette Wagner (Steven Bush), ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Dennis, she is predeceased by her son Dennis Wagner Jr. and her daughter Denise Arnold. Mom's favorite color was blue; please feel free to wear something blue to remember her by. Calling hours will be on Friday from 1 to 2pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland NY 13045. We will be following NYS guidelines regarding capacity and social distancing.
