Joann C. Snyder, 92 of Jewett Ave, Cortland , passed away October 27, 2020 at Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland. Mrs. Snyder was born June 3, 1928 in Cortland the daughter of the late John L. and Margaret Turney Casey.
Mrs. Snyder had been a lifelong resident of Cortland, a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She had been an active member of the church throughout her life. She had been a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Joann is survived by her son John J. Snyder of Gansevoort, NY, and her brother and Tony (Pat) Casey of Little York. Several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Mrs. Snyder was predeceased by her husband John T. Snyder, and her brothers James and Thomas Casey.
Funeral services will be private and will be held at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Funeral service will be streamed online, https://m.facebook.com/wrightbeardfuneralhomeinc/, Monday, Nov. 2 @10:30 AM
