Travis D. Henry, 53, of McGraw, passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2020 at hunting camp anticipating the opening morning of deer season. Travis was born on March 1, 1967 in Cortland, NY to his parents Kenneth Henry and Bonnie Eggleston Henry. Trav graduated from McGraw High School in 1986. He was a lifetime employee of C.O. Falter Construction Corp. Travis was an avid golfer and a true sportsman that enjoyed deer hunting, dirt bikes and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Knickerbocker Country Club and McGraw Sportsman’s Club. Travis will be remembered for being a kind-hearted person that lived life to the fullest, always laughing and willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. He is survived by his parents Kenneth Henry and Bonnie Henry; his son Travis D. Henry II.; his brother Shannon Henry; his sister Alta (Jody) Rawson and nephews and niece Brock, Dylan, and Taylor Rawson. He is also survived by his soulmate Penny Thomas, her children Ashley and Jessica, and Penny’s grandchildren Mason, Owen, Araya, and Avara. Additionally, he is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Travis was predeceased by his twin siblings Kenneth and Karen Henry, maternal grandparents Stanley and Alta (Barker) Eggleston and Albert and Mary (Bolt) Henry, as well as several aunts and uncles. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Tim Lucas, Tim Noble and the Emergency Team. Services and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
