Obituary of Vesta Hall

Please share a memory of Vesta to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Vesta Mae (Marti) Norton Hall, born on December 26, 1945 in Cuba, NY. For those that are reading this you know I have left my home on earth at 39 Port Watson St. in Cortland, NY to join my beloved Robert (Bobby) Hall, my parents Philip (Angelica, NY) and Eva Rennelle (Andover, NY) Norton and many other loved ones at a more heavenly abode. My blessings on earth were many. A loving husband with whom we welcomed 3 wonderful children into this world. Robert (Rob) of Watertown, Lisa (Tim) Cortright of Homer, and Laurie Hall (Fabian Lamb) in Watertown. They in turn added Philip, William, Heather (John Bondi), Troy (Kimi) Love, Christopher, Mark, Brianna Mae and great grandchildren Brandon, Erik, and Henry. Blessings also knowing the Sharmas in CA and being a nannie for their children Saarika (John Reed) and Sameer (Christine) and enjoying their families on social media. Facebook is so nice for me. I'm in touch with family, friends, classmates, cousins, nieces and nephews. Those who adopted me as a sister friend, brother friend or chat mom. My brother friend Allen (Spike) and his much loved wife Pat Simon who were friends with Bobby since grade school and my sister in law Linda Luther. I also have many loved ones not online. Yes, my blessings are many. Someone told me their mom said, "Those who plan their lives to the end cause God to laugh," and I believe it. My plans could never envision what befell me. I had never heard of most of my diagnoses. It is my wishes for no funeral, calling hours, etc. Just cremation and to be remembered for my sense of humor, caring and taking nothing for granted. Feel free to tell some of my "only me," stories and other funny times. Thanking all who were part of my life. If I wronged anyone please forgive me. Thanking Dr. Paula Gauss and staff at Cortland Fire Personnel and police. In lieu of flowers, please do something extra nice for someone you love and a kindness for someone you don't. As always, hugs and sweet dreams. See you someday on the other side. Also please consider a hospice donation.
