Philip Hartnett, Jr. of El Paso TX, passed away peacefully on December 6 th . He was born in Cortland, August 28 th 1953. Attended St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Cortland High School in 1973. He enlisted in the Navy and served from 1979-1985. Philip was predeceased by his parents Philip and Mary Hartnett Paro, and his brother Thomas Hartnett. He is survived by his siblings Jerry (Renee) Hartnett, Patrick (Diane) Hartnett, Rosemary (Ronald) Hulslander, James (Johanna) Hartnett, and Theresa (Brent) Cross, and sister-in-law Cyndi Hartnett. A calling hour will be held at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 12-1pm. We will be following NYS guidelines regarding capacity, facial coverings, and distancing. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. The graveside service will begin at 1:30pm and can be streamed live at https://m.facebook.com/wrightbeardfuneralhomeinc/.
