Obituary of Joseph Stockton

Joseph C. Stockton, "Jo-Jo" 65, of Cortland, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home Thursday, December 17th, 2020. Predeceased by his parents, Helen and Russel Stockton and his brother Patrick Stockton of Florida. Joseph is survived by his wife, Kathleen Caughey Stockton, married 36 years. His three daughters, Kayla Stockton, Laura Stockton Brown (Greg Brown), and Hannah Stockton. His sister Vickie Stockton of Cortland, brother James Stockton (Denise) of Cicero, NY and brother Michael Stockton of Florida, beloved grandchildren Teagan Kathleen Brown (5) and Noah Joseph Comfort (2), Godson Chipper Stockton of Cortland, along with many nieces, nephews, and family. Joseph worked at Suny Cortland for two decades, along with Elm Tree Golf Course, Zerrillo's GreenHouse and many other side jobs; he loved to stay busy! All who knew Joseph knew his love for the NY Giants, golf, bowling, softball, cooking for Pasta Paddy's and especially his favorite song, "Friends In Low Places." Per Joseph's wishes, no services will be held. The family will be organizing a celebration of life at a later date. He was a devoted family man and friend. Jo-Jo will be missed by so many. We love and miss you!
