Our deepest condolences, Maria, from our family to you and your family on Bob's passing. I have fond memories of the many years spent serving as treasurer when Bob was president of the Cortland High School Athletic Booster Club (not to mention the concession stand and cheering at all the athletic events!). My husband, Bob, recalls the time spent with your Bob in the National Guard as well.
With sympathy.

Maria and family,
Please accept our family’s condolences on Bob’s passing. Through my dad, Bob has been a person to whom I have grown up knowing and respecting, and will continue to remember him fondly. From taking over the business from his dad and running the tire shop until he had to give it up, to his love for health, outdoors, and physical fitness, a Renaissance man for sure. Bob was an honorable man, who walked his talk. In his later years, I remember the days when he would not pass my house If he saw me outside without stopping to ask how my dad was doing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May those wonderful memories of time spent with Bob help ease the pain you are feeling. God Bless you all!

I have so many happy memories of good times with Bob and Maria. Bob is my cousin, but ten years older so my memories are of us as adults. His mother Arlene and my mother Doris were sisters but very different. I think Bob possessed great traits from both of them! I remember Bob as smiling, outgoing, interested in others, and very kind. Maria I love what you wrote about Bob loving to travel, like his Mom and Dad, right?
Sending warm and loving thoughts to all of his family at this tender time.
Betsy
