Kenneth R. Crapo, 81 of DeRuyter passed away on January 7, 2021 at Crown Park Rehabiliation and Nursing Home. He was born on March 1 1939 in Cortland, a son of the late John and Genevieve Silcox Crapo.
Kenneth was employed by Smith-Corona as a line leader and machinist. His hobbies were playing music, bass guitar, in many local bands throughout his lifetime. He also enjoyed camping and the great outdoors.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Kenneth Crapo, Jr. of Killowog, NY, Norman (Barbara) Crapo of Killowog, NY, Martin (Carrie) Crapo, of Cuyler, NY, Jason (Mary Jo) Crapo, of Dryden, NY, Crystal (Colin) Michael of Hebron, KY, Laurie Chadwick of Whitney Point, NY. Kenneth is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a brother, Donald Crapo.
Kenneth was predeceased by his sister, Betty Rising and a grandson, Christopher Chadwick.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date determined by the family.
