Obituary of Chace Bentley

Chace Michael Bentley of Cortland passed away on Tuesday January 12, 2021 at the age of 24. He was a loving son, uncle, brother, cousin and friend. He was born on August 19, 1996 in Cortland, son of Caterina Griffin Cook and James Bentley and was the middle child of 3. He was a graduate of Cortland High School class of 2015. He was very active, playing football and wrestling in high school. He liked to go to Ithaca to swim and really enjoyed being outdoors. He worked for BRIX Pizzeria for 6 years and for O'Donnell Construction where he worked for 3 years. His glowing smile and outgoing personality will be missed by all that knew him. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Colleen Bentley and Pamela Scutt, and Uncle Michael Sampson. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers Skyler Distin, Justin Bentley, Griffin Morgan, Joseph Sampson and Michael Sampson II.
