Daniel F. "Skinner" McCall, 57 of Truxton passed away on March 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 18, 1964 in Cortland, NY a son of Lloyd and Martha Smith McCall Daniel was a maintenance worker for the Homer School District. His hobbies were socializing with friends, country music, hunting and dancing. Daniel is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Martha McCall, two brothers, Allan (Jody Lupinski) McCall, Trent (Jennifer) McCall, one sister, Audrey (BJ) Maxson, a niece, Gabrielle McCall, his longtime companion, Patricia (PattI) Sprague, three step children, Matthew (Michelle) Vanetten, Anthony Vanetten, Tiffany (Seth) Hamilton, step grandchildren, Mariah and Mason Vanetten, Kamrie Blake, Evaleen and Maylinn Hamilton. Calling hours will be 4-5:45 PM Wednesday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, NY 13045. Social Distancing and Mask are required. A private Funeral Service will be 6 PM Wednesday and can be viewed directly at https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/daniel-mccall or by visiting Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. website and viewing Daniel's obituary and clicking live stream. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made to Hospicare / Cortland, 11 Kennedy Parkway, Cortland, NY 13045 in Dan's name.
