Hi Doug: So sorry to hear about your Dad. I wanted to drive up from Pa. but not sure how the weather will be, so thought I'd let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was in Tennessee watching grandchildren when your Mom passed so unable to make it up then either. Even though we are cousins, it has been at least 30 years since I have seen you. It is amazing how time flies by. Since your Mom and Dad were so close, I am sure they are rejoycing about being together again. I hope all your happy memories will help you through this difficult time. Love, Jean Carruthers Brown

We were very sad to see the passing of one of the best neighbors on the block. Irv and Helen were certainly gems and will be missed by those who knew them. Mr. and Mrs. joseph Quinlan
I recently met Irving and his daughter-in-law Joanne at CRMC's Misty Glen where my Mom Helen was a resident. It was a highlight of my visit there. I want to wish Joanne and the Carruthers family my most sincere condolences on their loss. Unfortunately, my Mom passed yesterday so I know very well the strains of losing a loved one. Again, my deepest sympathy, Pat Seibert
