Obituary of Brian Lockwood

Brian Lockwood, 55, of Cortland, NY passed away on Monday May 3, 2021. He was born on July 27th, 1965, the son of the late Georgia and Albert S. Lockwood Sr. Brian was a lifelong resident of Cortland and previously worked at the J.M. Murray Center. He was a huge Miami Dolphins fan and also enjoyed going to the races. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Brian also enjoyed drawing and playing Dungeon and Dragons. Brian is survived by his sisters Vicky Lockwood of McGraw, NY, and Charlotte Lockwood of Cortland, NY, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Russell Lockwood, Albert Lockwood Jr., and John Lockwood. A celebration of Brian's life will be held on Monday May 10, 2021 from 12-1pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
