Shirley,Jack,Terri,Tom,Karen and extended family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I was so saddened to hear the news. One really can't quite understand the loss of a parent until it happens. My heart hurts for each of you . May you find comfort in holding your memories within your heart. I would like to share my favorite memory of your Dad and hope that it may put a small smile one your faces....... When I was still living at home when I was 20, I would talk to your Dad about refinishing furniture. One day he told me he knew of just the right place to buy cheap furniture. We traveled the back roads, all along reminiscing of the times he and Sterling took all of us on a Sunday to snoop through delapadaed barns! (That old VW bug with holes in the floor board scared the pants off me!) we arrived at "Spikes" barn out in Manlious. I bought a truck load of junk for $50. I will never forget the look on my Dad's face when he tried to pull into the garage and there was no room! One of the pieces I had purchased was an old Victorian fainting couch. He took one look at and raised his eyebrows kinda funny. Of course he couldn't fathom what I was going to do with it. I thought it was the most beautiful thing! Well, that never ended up getting refurbished, but the small trunk and oak table did. I have them still today! I will now appreciate the memories even more and smile as I think of my day with Spike and John.............love, Beth

Dear fellow Bloodgood Famiy, I am writing on behalf of the late Leonard "Fluff" Bloodgood family in Otisco (Aunt Ruth, Cousins Brenda, Doug, Tim & Jim) to offer our condolences to you during this difficult time. Although we haven't seen each other in years and the miles so few between us, we are saddened to hear about Newphew/Cousin John. My siblings and I are much younger, however, we have fond memories of Uncle Emmett and Aunt Ada and our cousins through the years. May you find comfort and peace in those memories and keep them close to your heart. There is a huge Bloodgood family reunion happening in heaven right now...Peace, Brenda Bloodgood Zook, Otisco, NY
Karen, We're sorry to hear of the passing of your father and we are praying for you at this time of need. Love, Cindy, Patty and Colleen from Cayuga
