Marc N. Efimenko, 66, of Cortland passed away on May 24, 2021, at University Hospital in Syracuse after a prolonged struggle with cancer.
He was born on May 18, 1955, in Cortland to his parents Andrew Efimenco and Mildred (Shutts) Efimenco. Marc made his career at the Pall Trinity Corporation working in the maintenance department, and, further, was the proprietor of his own small business in town, "Efimenko's Computer and Repair." He was a fan of classic rock and country music and played the guitar and keyboard. Known as "Dadig" to his children, Marc also privately enjoyed armchair astronomy and science fiction movies and television, especially Star Trek. He is pre-deceased by his first wife, Kathleen Efimenko, and survived by his second wife, Mary Latimer-Efimenko; his son Aron Efimenko; daughter Ame Efimenko; and brother, Andrew Efimenco and his family, and sister, Michelle DeBellis and her daughters.
