Obituary of Lois Snyder

Lois Mary Snyder, 95, McGraw NY passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Groton Community Health Care Center. Lois was born in Freetown NY to Raymon and Ola Ayers on February 26, 1926. She was a mother who also cared for many families' and friends' children. She was a talented knitter, crocheter and seamstress. She was an active and dedicated member of McGraw Methodist Church. Lois is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Ann (Malcolm) Heath of Cortland, Mary Jane (Richard) Neff of Freeville and Karla Ray Furney of Corning. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, of 68 years, Robert L. Snyder. Lois was also predeceased by her two brother, Harry and Howard Ayers and her sister, Elizabeth Trim. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to McGraw United Methodist Church, McGraw NY 13101. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
