Obituary of Michelle L. Johnson

Michelle "Shelly" Johnson, 54, of Cortland passed away June 23, 2021 at the Guthrie Cortland Regional Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1967. Shelly was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Cortland high School. Over the years she had worked at Subway and Wendy's Restaurants. She enjoyed crocheting but most of all being with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Randy Johnson, her sons Joshua Johnson, Matthew (Brandi) Johnson, Nicholas (Alexis Allbright) Johnson, Joseph (Sydney Della Monica) Johnson, her daughters Leslie Johnson and Katlin (Jeremy) Nichols, her sister Stephanie Chamberlain, her grandchildren Haylee, Conner, Brayden, Izabell, Waylon, Jonah, and Tristan, several nieces and nephews. Shelly was predeceased by her parents Robert and Barbara Chamberlain, her son Ryan Johnson, and her sister Jennifer Johnson. Calling hours will be Monday 11 am-1 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. A graveside service will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery, Homer NY.
