Obituary of Leonard E. Warfle

Leonard E. Warfle 88 of Cortland passed away on June 29, 2021 at Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born on March 6, 1933 in Cortland, NY a son of the late Robert and Evelyn Leroy Warfle. Leonard served his country with The United States Army during the Korean War. He worked at Brewers/Cooper Tools and was also a volunteer fire fighter with Cortlandville. He is survived by his children, Lorraine Braman, Ronald (Janette) Warfle, Rose (Douglas) Fralick, Pamela (Scott) Smith, Sister Betty Harris, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Leonard is predeceased by his loving wife Helen Warfle and siblings Edna Bagley, Trudy Schusler, David Warfle and Patty Bolt. A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 8, 2021 at 6:00PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. Reverend Bob Lindley will be officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday July 9, 2021 at 11:00AM at Cortland Rural Cemetery.
