Obituary of Jack Finkelstein

Jack S Finkelstein Jack Sheldon Finkelstein, 83, of North Miami Beach, Florida passed away at his residence of natural causes on July 17, 2021. Jack was born May 11, 1938 in Cortland, New York to Myer Finkelstein and Pauline Finkelstein (Sickmon). Jack graduated from Cortland High School in 1956 and served in the US Army during his early 20s. Jack worked in the family business (Finkelstein and Sons Salvage) before moving to Florida to escape the cold weather. He resided in the family vacation home from the mid sixties until his death. Jack was employed in the recreation and tourism industry for many years prior to his retirement. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Eli Finkelstein. He leaves behind his brother Kent Finkelstein, nephew Jon Finkelstein and many friends in the Cortland and North Miami Beach areas. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date.
