Obituary of Sherry E. Boone

Sherry E. Boone, of Cortland passed away unexpectedly July 19, 2021. She was born July 22, 1952 in Cortland the daughter of the late George and Mary Crofts Boone. Sherry graduated from the Cascadilla School in Ithaca then went on to Tompkins Cortland Community College where she received her associate's degree in criminal justice. She retired with the rank of sergeant from the Cortland County Sheriff's Department after many years of service. She is survived by her siblings Douglas (Dorothy) Boone, Susan (Laurence Edwards) Boone, and Scott (Meghan McDonald) Boone, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
