Patricia "Trish" Torbitt, 52, of Lisle, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. Born September 27, 1968 in Belleville NJ, she was the daughter of Paul Buttacavoli and the late Barbara Buttacavoli. She graduated from Deposit High School. She worked as a manager at Walmart for 18 years; Dollar General for 2 years and most recently at Speedway. In her spare time, Trish enjoyed drawing, coloring, spending time with her grandchildren and watching her two sons race. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Trish is survived by her husband Christopher Torbitt; and her children, Scot (Sienna) Torbitt of Marathon, NY, Abrianna (Zach) Torbitt of Cortland, NY, Jordan (Mandi) Torbitt of Whitney Point, NY, and Pashlee (Charles) Slack of Cortland, NY. She also leaves behind grandchildren Ethin Torbitt, Kado Kimball, Levi Kimball, Mariana Slack, Tobias Torbitt and Koryn Torbitt; her twin brother, Paul Buttacavoli of Windsor, NY; her brother, Philip (Melissa) Buttacavoli of Utica, NY; her sister Jeanna Mills of Deposit, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours at Wright Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland NY, will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 starting at 2pm with a service to follow at 3pm. A Celebration of her life will be held immediately following the service at 1195 Conrad Rd, Marathon, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Whitney Point Wrestling Program or Autism Speaks.
