Please share a memory of Ricky to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ricky G. Jackson passed away in his home September 16, 2021 he was 66. He was born in Cortland, NY the only child of George & Mary Brown Jackson both deceased. He graduated from Homer. He is survived by his loving wife Pam, his wonderful daughters Luisa Maria Slack, Jeanette (Jody) Keith, his over the moon grandchildren Brandon and Shannon Slack, Bradley Keith and his first wife, mother of his daughters, Louise Ayers and Carl Slack. Always one to keep busy, sometimes having three jobs. I can't remember all of them but here are a few. He worked for SCM, Abdallah's, Greek Peak, Silver Star Taxi, The Post Office for 25 yrs., and as a pharmacy tech for Kinney drugs for 6 yrs. And maybe you remember seeing his hot air balloon that he flew for 11 years. He loved to ride motorcycle, take the kids camping, skiing, museums, zoos … he could make anything an adventure and fun! Oh and music just try and stump him! He was the music man! He loved to shop for food, clothes, gadgets, anything clearance, he was THERE!!! A very positive person he always tried to brighten your day! Although he was an only child he leaves behind lots of local family and friends. His dad was from the Ohio/ Kentucky area so as a kid they would visit there often. He has a LOT of family there as well. To all his family and friends may the winds be always at your backs. No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a memorial is planned. Donations in memory of Ricky G.
