Obituary of Paul D. Heath Jr.

Paul Dwayne Heath Jr., 40, of Cortland, NY passed away on September 23, 2021 at Westchester Hospital in Valhalla, NY, after a short battle with COVID. Paul was born to Paul D. Heath Sr. and Kathy L. Heath on October 25, 1980, in Buffalo, Oklahoma. He was a lifelong Cortland area resident and drove truck. He is survived by his children Logan Heath, Aiden Heath, Briahnna Heath, and their mother Amanda Heath. Daughter Evie Marzano, fiancé Samantha Marazano, "Momma" Jessie Crouch, siblings Joshua Rice, Dakota (Sean) Orphan, Lindsay Crouch, Kyle Crouch, Mickyla Crouch, Morgan (Nathan) Maclaury, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Paul and Kathy Heath, brother Bradley Rice, nieces Zoey and Ava Miller, and Taylynn Orphan. Paul was first and foremost a father, he loved his children above all. He was an avid hunter, he enjoyed mudding and working on his Ford truck. He will be remembered for his humor and making people laugh. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY, from 12-2pm with a funeral service at 2.
