Bruce A. Holden, 57, of Marathon, passed away on September 23, 2021 surrounded by his family. Bruce was born on November 9, 1963 in Cortland to his parents Gerald Holden and Carol (Barrows) Holden. He worked in manufacturing at Pall Trinity for many years. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed biking, fishing, riding his motor bike and camping. Bruce was a devoted family man and touched the lives of many friends and co-workers. He is survived by his very loving and caring wife Christy Holden, whom he loved for 34 years, his sons Nicholas (Maranda) Holden and Ryan Holden (special friend Delaney); his brothers Gerald Holden and Ralph (Sarah) Holden; his sister Cathy Buckley, and his grandchildren Elizabeth, Grace, and Coty; his in-laws Michael and Carrie Pope, Kathi Maxson, and Daniel (Allyson) Freelove. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who shared countless good times with him and always looked forward to being around him. Bruce is predeceased by his mother Carol (Barrows) Holden, and his mother and father-in-law, Allen and Priscilla Maxson. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, from 2 to5pm at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11am at the funeral home. A celebration of life will follow at the Blodgett Mills Gun Club. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
