Obituary of Shawn Duncan
Please share a memory of Shawn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Shawn "Ryan Alexander" Duncan, 36, of Spring, TX passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 2, 2021. He was born on December 31, 1984 in Stuttgart, Germany.
Shawn gave all he had to everyone he ever met. He was spunky, sassy, selfless, loyal, blunt, genuine, kind, fun, real, caring, and an honest spirit with a sweet soul. He touched so many lives with his laughter and smile, which we remember when he would say "oh Lord." Shawn had a great personality and a heart of gold. He loved music, especially 'Single Ladies' by Beyoncé, and he loved DJing. Shawn loved dancing and gatherings with his family and many many friends. A bright light has dimmed.
Shawn graduated from Homer Central High school in 2003. He attended Finger Lakes community College prior to moving to Texas. He worked in the hospitality industry and was also a DJ. Shawn was currently attending Lone Star Community College for Paralegal studies.
Shawn is survived by his parents William L. and Beatrice L. Hess Duncan Jr., of Cortland, NY, his siblings Michael, David (Missy), both of Cortland, NY, Anthony (Sarah Beth) of New Haven, NY, Dominick (Stefanie) of Henderson, NV, Javelin Duncan of Asheville, NC, and "Dee" Duncan of Houston, TX, his grandmother Annemarie Hess, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
