Obituary of Deborah Ann Kinney

Deborah Ann Kinney, 65 of East Freetown, passed away on Saturday December 4, 2021. Deborah was born on January 26, 1956 in Syracuse, NY to her parents the late Daniel Haynes and Audrey (Love) Haynes. Since the time she graduated from Cortland High School, Deborah worked as a Heath Aide, practicing at the Cortland Hospital as well as in countless private residences. Deborah was a caregiver to anyone who walked through her door, she would be a mother, grandmother, sister, or best friend to anyone who needed it. She gave anyone a helping hand when they needed it, and enjoyed volunteering. Deborah was an avid crafter and collector. But above all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She is survived by her loving mother Audrey Haynes, children Christopher (Nancy) Haynes, Renee (Don) Kinney and Heidi (Lester) Harman; siblings Daniel (Susan) Haynes Jr., Darleen (Frank) Cardner, and Dennis Haynes; her grandchildren Elizabeth (Anthony Bowman) Kinney, Nicholas Kinney, Ray Kinney, Trey Harman, Trenton Harman, Seth Harman, Kaleb Harman, and Krysta Earle; and her great-grandchildren Anthony Bowman III, and Aaliyah Bowman, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her angel grandchildren Tristan and Brandon. Calling hours will be held on Friday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc from 12 to 1pm with a funeral service taking place at the funeral home at 1PM. Burial will follow at the Virgil Cemetery.
