Deborah Leigh Phelps Scoville, 68, of Collegeview Dr., Cortlandville NY, passed away December 9, 2021. She was born December 11, 1952 in Chicago Illinois, the daughter of the late Charles and Marion Phelps.
Deborah relocated to the Cortland area as a child with her family. She had been employed with the JM Murray Center for over 30 years as an assembler. She enjoyed crafting, watching the Lifetime channel and classic television shows, spending time with her husband, socializing with her friends, and a good cup of hot coffee.
She is survived by her husband Edward "Howie" Scoville, her mother in-law Sandra Vosburg, her sister in-law Sally Kapfer, several nieces, nephews, cousins, her cat Drake, and her family at ARC Madison Cortland.
A calling hour will be Wednesday 1-2 pm with a funeral service to begin 2 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Spring burial will be at the Cortland Rural Cemetery.
