Obituary of Joanne Thompson

Jo Anne (Jojo) Thompson of Cortland, NY passed away after a long battle with cancer on December 22, 2021 in Cortland, NY with the loving care of a life long friend and loving family member Jamie Prindle. Jo was born on August 14th 1960 in Cortland NY the daughter of Norman(Tommy) Henry Thompson of McGraw, NY and Margaret Prindle Thompson of McGraw, NY. Jo was predeceased by her father Norman(Tommy) Thompson, her mother Margaret Prindle Thompson and brother Kenneth Dale Ripley. She is survived by her brothers; Thomas(Fritz) (Cathy) Thompson of McGraw, NY; Tracey Thompson of Cortland, NY; Terry(Lorie) Thompson of Moravia, NY; Sister in law Gayle Ripley of Port Crane, NY and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many loving cousins. Special thanks goes out to Jamie Prindle and Lori Prindle Space for the absolute love and care that they provided for Jo!! Also, a special mention to her life long friend Josephine Stovall for her love and support thru it all. Jo was a life long resident of the area. She worked at Pall Trinity for well over 25 years and was well loved by all who knew her! Any donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or your local Hospice. In lieu of services the family will be holding a celebration of life at Gator's Tavern on Owego Street, Cortland, NY on January 8th, 2022 at 1:00PM all who wish to attend are more than welcome.
