Charles E. Carter, 67, of Cortland, NY passed away on Saturday December 25, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1954 in New Castle, Delaware.
Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing and loved his friends. He enjoyed his time spent with his best friend Clayton Bennett prior to his passing in August. Charles was a dedicated truck driver for many years and he loved his job.
Charles is survived by his wife Ronna Carter, his son Charles Carter Jr., his daughter Mary Jo Shingler, his stepsons Ron and Shane McMillen, his stepdaughters Connie and Alisha Gardner, his stepbrother Tommy Marino, his niece Dana Gilman from Delaware, and his several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charles is predeceased by his parents Samuel Carter and Margaret Marino, his siblings Samuel Carter, Lonnie Perry, Edward Perry, Victor Perry, Cheryl Carter, and Linda Perry all from Delaware.
There will be no services.
