Obituary of Harlan Scott Pudney

Harlan "Scott" Pudney Cortland- Harlan Scott Pudney, 49, died unexpectedly January 20, 2022, at Lourdes hospital. He was born January 24th, 1972, In Cortland, NY. The son of Harlan Pudney, Jr and Vicki Hall. Scott is survived by his father and step mom, Harlan and Trudy Pudney of Dryden, mother Vicki Hall of Cazenovia; his long time girlfriend, Robin Houde of Cortland; his four daughters, Chasten, Elaina, Belle and Morgan and five bonus children, Ciara, Sady, Sabrina, Nina and Noah. His siblings, Troy Pudney of Dryden, Mallory Pudney of Dryden, Jennifer Mackey (Frank Smith) of Cortland and Lori Lewis of Cazenovia. His paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Pudney of Cincinnatus and paternal grandmother, Belva Hall of Carthage. Along with 8 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Harlan Pudney, Sr; maternal grandfather, Larry Hall and brother, Joe Lewis. Scott graduated from Cortland high school. He was a devoted hunter and fishermen. He enjoyed being at his family's property in Taylor NY, its where he felt the most peace. He loved life and always had a smile on his face, he could make friends with anyone. He always was willing to donate his time, a helping hand or even his hair, every year he would shave his head for St. Baldricks. Scott worked a majority of his career at Moreys tow and service in Cortland, NY. Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 from 4pm-5:45pm with services to follow at 6pm at Wright Beard funeral home on Lincoln Ave in Cortland.
