Obituary of Mary K. Palmer

In the early morning hours of January 31st, Mary (Marcey) Palmer passed away at the age of 55. Mary was born to Maurice and Kathryn Marcey in 1966. She lived and worked in the Cortland area for most of her life, having attended McGraw Schools and working most recently at Colonial Laundromat. Mary had one son, Travis Wolfe and one grandson, Johnathan. Mary loved her family, spending time with her son and grandson were her greatest joy. She loved playing cards, getting together with her sisters, and helping others whenever she could. Mary was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and cheered them on regardless of their record. Mary is predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Kathryn Marcey, her brother John Marcey and a sister, Julia (Marcey) Baker. She is survived by her son Travis (Blaire) Wolfe, grandson Johnathan, siblings Renee Gates, Lonnie Marcey, William (Jackie) Marcey, Grace (Ron) Overbaugh, Peter (Prudy) Marcey, Roberta (Edward) Mahler, and Laura (Edwin) Marcey-Jones, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, extended family, and community members who wish to pay their respects on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 2-4 pm at Wright Beard Funeral Home located at 9 Lincoln Avenue, Cortland, New York,
