Obituary of Michael J. Fisher

Michael J. Fisher, 50, of Cortland/Scott, passed away unexpectedly, March 19, 2022. He was born February 25, 1972 the son of the Late Gilbert Fisher and Shirley Komrowski . He enjoyed his children and grandchildren above anything. He loved hunting and fishing and working beside his friends and family. Classic cars and antique shopping were also a passion of his. He was a man of many talents and jokes, he adored anything that included his family. He is survived by his children Alicia (Brandon Marsh) VanDee, Courtney (Ryan Sharpsteen) Fisher, and Michael Fisher II. His grandchildren Aveyin VanDee, Ryleigh VanDee, Whitley Marsh, Bryant Sharpsteen, Bransyn Sharpsteen, the mother of his children and Wife of 25 years Lisa (James Postma) Fisher. His Father in law Edward Rowley, his Friends, Horatio Jimmy, Dustin and Jeff, His beloved dog Ryder, several siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Michaels life will be held this Sunday 1 – 4 PM at the Blodgett Mills Sportsman Club, 416 Stafford Rd. Cortland, NY 13045
