Shirley I. Breed, 89, of Blodgett Mills, passed away on March 25, 2022 at home.
She was born on February 18, 1933 in Cortland to her parents Harold Stevens and Ada Brown Stevens.
Shirley made her career working at McGraw Box for over 30 yrs. After retiring she then went on to work at the day care services at the YMCA in Cortland for 17 years
Shirley is survived by her children Jonathan Breed, Deborah Davenport, and Martin Breed; grandchildren Jeri (Barry) Coningsby, Jill (Roger) Abbott; great grandchildren Alexcis Coningsby, Nolan Coningsby, and Lucy Coningsby; and her sister-in-law Katherine Stevens. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband David H. Breed in 1987, her brother Junior Stevens in 2006 and son in law Kenneth "Chip" Davenport in 2013
In keeping her wishes, there will be no services.
