Carol E. Blakeley, 81, of Marathon, passed on from her loving family to her home with the Lord on May 6, 2022.
She was born on August 24, 1940 in Virgil, NY, to her parents, the late Kenneth Richard Smith and Leah Edna Woodard. Carol traveled providing services as a phlebotomist. In her time of leisure, she enjoyed playing the organ tending to her flowers,reading books by the dozen, and enjoying nature and all its glory.
Carol is survived by her brother Richard Smith, her sister Kathleen Reynolds, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert(Kent) Blakeley, her faithful dog Honeybear, her brother Jerald Smith, her sisters Mary Talbot, Bessie O'Neill, in addition to her parents.
A graveside service will be held on May 18th at Parker Street Cemetery in Lapeer at 11am.
