Sister Lucille Arlene Tuttle, 72, went to be with her Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1949 and lived most of her life in the Town of Scott.
She enjoyed spending her days reading her scriptures and spending quality time with her family. Her strong faith made her believe in miracles, the loving spirit of Santa, and the goodwill of strangers. She believed in showing kindness to everyone and loving one another. She loved gardening, sewing, frogs and cardinals and was always there for her friends and family when they needed an ear to listen.
Lucy is survived by her children: Patrick Hapgood, Harold Hapgood, Jennifer (Melissa) Hapgood, Hannelore (Skeeter) Martin, and Erin (Tim) Kemp; her sister Mary (Jerry) Brown and brother Luke Tuttle; her beloved grandchildren Donald (Jessica) and Abigail Putnam, Kristen Harstfield, Falesha Carr, Corbyn and Nick Kemp, Aubrianna and Jedrick Hapgood, Ethan Chamberlain, Grace, Lucille, and Hoss Martin, as well as her bonus kids Trina Hapgood, Tammy Fisher, and David Putnam. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews , cousins and her brothers and sisters from her church. She was great Grandma to Bentley, Laikyn, Kolton, and Kamryn;
She was greeted in Heaven into the open arms of her parents Harold and Patricia O'Connor Tuttle; her brothers Dennis, Pat, and Mike Tuttle, Herman, Pete and Harold Rofe as well as her angel Grand babies Eloise and Dawson. Her darling puppy Buster is already on her lap giving her kisses.
Calling hours will be 11-12:45 PM Saturday at Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church 3725 Fairview Dr, Cortland, NY 13045. A funeral Service will follow at 1 PM. Burial will follow in East Homer Cemetery. Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
