Fred (Freddie) Raymond Williams, Jr., 35 of Cortland passed away on November 25, 2022, with his mother and sister by his side holding his hand. Freddie was born on April 4, 1987, in Cortland, NY to Fred and Sherri Williams Sr. Freddie loved riding ATV and snowmobiles, his greatest passion was tattooing, music, drawing and painting. His great sense of humor for smearing birthday cake on everyone at parties. Also, for sneaking eggs out of their baskets re-hiding them so it took his kids, nieces and nephews longer to find them at Easter. Freddie liked his murder mystery Dean Koontz books. Freddie is survived by his loving parents, Fred and Sherri Williams Sr., of Summerhill, his sister Lisa (Bernard) Slater, of Moravia, his brother, Jeremiah (Calista) Gardner, of Cortland, his children who he loved deeply, Fred R. Williams III and Ryan C. Williams of Auburn, several nieces and nephews, Destiny Slater, Andy Williams, Jr., Damien Williams, Genevieve Gardner, Emily Gardner, Several aunts, uncles and a lot of cousins. Freddie was predeceased by his brother, Andy Williams, Sr., sister, Ashely E. Williams, grandparents, Robert and Betty Williams and Betty and Donald Schermerhorn. Freddie will especially be remembered for his beautiful artist work with tattooing that was his life passion. Calling hours will be 1-2:30 PM Thursday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, with a Celebration of life to follow at 2:30 PM.
