Obituary of Clara Jenney

Clara S. Jenney, 91, of Homer, passed away on November 27, 2022 at the Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1931 in Cortland to her parents, the late Judson Warren and Martha "Young" Warren. Clara was a lover of horses and enjoyed being outside riding them. She enjoyed golf in the summer months and loved working in her flower beds gardening. In her free time, Clara looked forward to bingo games and playing cards with family and friends. Clara is survived by her beloved husband James Jenney, sons Steve (Sally) Sprouse, Gary (Nancy Slocum) Sprouse, and her daughter Tami (Kevin Boyden) Sprouse, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her stepchildren Jeff (Lynda) Jenney and Jackie (Frank) Garlock. In addition to her parents, Clara was predeceased by her stepson James Jenney Jr., her siblings Grace Robbins, Russ, Ralph and Les Warren, and her half-sisters Eleanor Powers & Elsie Wright. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family.
